In this year's edition of the Forum, which takes place on
Nearly 400 leaders are participating in Nowy Sącz and Krynica Zdrój on September 2-6 this year
from over 30 countries, including the European Union, but also Eastern Europe and
Russia. The Forum participants are young entrepreneurs and leaders of organizations
non-governmental organizations, business associations, as well as young academics and
journalists. The Official Partner of FEML is the Warsaw-based
Institute of Banking "Bankers for Education" Program.
Partners also include WIB educational projects – "Security in Cyberspace" and "Active Student", as well as the Sectoral Competence Council for the Financial Sector and the National Academic Media Forum.
The goal of the Economic Forum of Young Leaders
there is discussion and cooperation between representatives of future European elites,
influencing both locally in their countries and
jointly initiating international projects and ventures that will allow
build a better tomorrow. The event was attended by government representatives, including
Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.
On the third day of FEML 2019, a panel discussion co-organized by WIB took place, titled "Cyberspace – Security First." The panelists discussed topics such as cyberattacks, education in this area, and the development of modern technologies. Participating in the discussion were: Sylwester Tułajew, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration; Ireneusz Tarnowski, Cyberspace Expert at Santander Bank Polska; Jakub Kalinowski, Law Enforcement Cooperation Expert at Allegro; and Stefan Kägebein, Managing Director at the German Eastern Business Association. On the final day of the Forum, participants moved to Krynica Zdrój, where they listened to the discussion "Time for the Young Leader – Changes in Education, the Labor Market, and the Pension System." Waldemar Zbytek, President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Institute of Banking, participated, as well as, among others. Zoltan Csefalvay – Expert at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, Antal Nikoletti – Secretary General of the Central European Initiative and Oleksander Yarema – Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports in the Government of Ukraine.
