The 7th NATIONAL COMPETITION is addressed to universities, schools, institutions, non-governmental organizations and other entities working for the benefit of children and young people, pupils and students.
The projects aim to support young people in their activities for the benefit of the community to which they belong and in which they live daily. It is also crucial to create favorable conditions for them to fulfill their dreams and aspirations, to speak up for themselves and their peers, and to acquire and improve their economic thinking skills and manage their resources economically.
Participating in the competition and creating projects is also intended to be an opportunity to introduce positive changes in the environment, "take matters into your own hands" in school and university governments, in the neighborhood, do good in the local community, and follow the thought of Janusz Korczak: "We must not leave the world as it is.".
Projects should refer to the figure and ideas of Janusz Korczak – an ally of dialogue and the idea of the Year of Economic Education 2024 ( www.REE2024.pl ).
A necessary condition that the project must meet is the participation of children and young people, pupils and students, from the moment of examining the needs and expectations of the environment and constructing the budget to meet them, through to implementation and evaluation of the effects.
The organizers will award prizes to the competition winners in the form of project funding of up to PLN 5,000. Applicants must also provide at least PLN 20% of funding from their own resources (or other sources). Applications must be submitted by March 22, 2024.
