The Warsaw Institute of Banking cordially invites seniors to an educational meeting with experts on March 22 at 2:30 p.m. as part of the Financial Education and Entrepreneurship Congress.
The meeting entitled "Digital Senior – Active, Educated, Safe" will be held at the Nowolipie Intergenerational Activity Center in Warsaw.
The meeting will be opened by Michał Polak, Vice President of the Warsaw Institute of Banking, who will talk about the results of the latest report entitled "Seniors in the World of Digital Finance.".
The following speakers will be present:
Marzena Rudnicka – President of the National Institute of Silver Economy (KIGS)
Edyta Piaszczyk – Communications Manager of the Cashless Poland Foundation
Katarzyna Grabowska – Cybersecurity Awareness Building Department, NASK
Beata Borucka – influencer "Mądra Babcia" (Wise Grandma), founder of SilverTV
The following topics will be discussed during the event:
on digitization in education and finance based on the WIB and ZBP Report entitled "Seniors in the world of digital finance", including how a modern senior pays cashlessly;
about the conscious use of online resources and methods of acquiring reliable knowledge, including the "Modern Senior" guide;
examples of digital activation among seniors, such as developing passions via the Internet or methods of transforming their interests into a form of online income;
and seniors will also gain a knowledge base on how to safely navigate the Internet and protect themselves against possible threats.
Those attending the event will also receive educational materials.
