Teachers and students in grades 7 and 8 of primary schools can register to participate in the 9th edition of the European Financial Quiz (EQF) until January 31, 2026. This international economic and financial knowledge competition, organized at the initiative of the European Banking Federation, takes place simultaneously in dozens of European countries. Polish teams have significant achievements in the competition, including winning the 2017/2018 edition.
Participants must demonstrate knowledge of topics such as budgeting, saving, borrowing, investing, cybersecurity, financial mathematics, the financial and banking system, insurance, currencies, and modern technologies. The competition includes national qualifying rounds and a European final. The team that wins the national competition and takes first place in the EQF 2025/2026 Final will be eligible to represent Poland in the European Money Quiz final, organized by the European Banking Federation.
The 9th edition of EQF is implemented in cooperation with the National Bank of Poland as part of the economic education programme.
How to take part in the Competition?
1. A school interested in participating in EQF 2024/2025 submits a DECLARATION OF PARTICIPATION and recruits students for the Competition. The purpose of recruitment is to form two-person teams, which will then be entered into the competition.
2. After the recruitment process, the School registers a two-person team/teams by completing the TEAM REGISTRATION FORM.

Prizes in the Competition
The winners of the EQF 2025/2026 Competition Final, i.e. the members of the five best teams, will receive financial prizes in the amount of:
1st place PLN 2,000/person gross
2nd place PLN 1,600/person gross
3rd place PLN 1,200/person gross
4th place PLN 800/person gross
5th place PLN 500/person gross
The schools from which the five best teams from the EQF 2025/2026 Competition Final will come will receive financial prizes in the amount of:
1st place PLN 2,500 gross
2nd place PLN 1,500 gross
3rd place: PLN 1,000 gross
4th place PLN 800 gross
5th place PLN 500 gross
Teachers/guardians of the five best teams from the EQF 2025/2026 Final will receive financial prizes of PLN 1,000 gross/person.
Additional prizes:
Students from the teams with the highest scores in each of the 16 provincial stages of the European Financial Quiz 2025/2026, as well as teachers/supervisors of these 16 teams, will receive prizes in kind – gift cards worth PLN 150 gross per person. If a single teacher supervises multiple teams in the provincial stage, they will receive the prize only once.
All participants of the final (30 people – students and teachers) will receive prizes – gift cards worth PLN 200 gross/person.
