Active Local Government is a nationwide initiative of cooperation between the banking sector and local government units to foster economic education for residents. Since the first agreement was signed in Wrocław in 2016, over 400 local governments at all levels have joined the program, supported by over 1,000 local government employees. The project develops educational activities for children, youth, students, and seniors, and a key element is partnerships with local media, which use the prepared materials in portals and newsletters. Over 100 local government and regional media outlets currently support the collaborative development of residents' financial literacy.
