We invite teachers and students of upper primary and secondary schools to participate in a nationwide online lesson: "The Story of the Central Bank. 100th Anniversary of Central Banking in Poland," which will take place on April 25, 2024, from 8:55 a.m. to 9:40 a.m.
The lesson will be led by: Waldemar Zbytek – Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Year of Economic Education 2024.
The lesson is being organized to mark the 100th anniversary of central banking in Poland – the Bank of Poland, the forerunner of the National Bank of Poland, began operations on April 28, 1924. This anniversary takes on particular significance in 2024, which is designated the Year of Economic Education.
