On the occasion of Safer Internet Day, celebrated in Poland on February 11, WIB and the Partner of the "Safety in Cyberspace" project – BLIK cordially invite teachers and students of primary and secondary schools to participate in a nationwide online lesson on the digital well-being of school youth.
The online lesson entitled "Digital well-being on Safer Internet Day" will take place on February 11, 2025 (Tuesday) on the ClickMeeting platform from 9:50 to 10:35.
The webinar, which is aimed at secondary school students and primary school students in grades VI-VIII, will be led by a representative of the Partner of the project "Security in Cyberspace" – Mr. Przemysław Poręba, a BLIK security expert.
Main topics covered in the lesson:
diagnosis of the problem of digital hygiene: what exactly is digital hygiene and what impact does it have on school children and youth,
digital hygiene and social media – striving for „authority on the internet”,
what is the "dopamine loop" and attention deficit,
the effects of excessive use of mobile devices (laptop/smartphone/tablet),
threats arising from the search for satisfaction in the digital space – cybersecurity and cyberhygiene,
issues of digital stress and indication of practical principles related to cyber hygiene.
Registration for lessons:
Teachers register their classes via an online form on ClickMeeting. The form requires the teacher's first and last name, email address, school name, class, estimated number of students, province, and city.
