One of the most important economic meetings in Poland, the 590 Congress, has begun in Rzeszów. Over two days (October 16-17, 2017), dozens of thematic panels will be held, with participation from representatives of large and small businesses, academia, politics, and public administration. The event is also accompanied by the 2nd Congress of Leaders of the Republic – Youth 590, attended by, among others, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, and President of the Polish Bank Association, Krzysztof Pietraszkiewicz. Partners of the conference include the "Bankers for Education" Sectoral Project, the "Modern Business Management" Program, and the Sectoral Competence Council for the Financial Sector.

The aim of the meeting, organized at the University of Rzeszów, is to integrate the academic and student communities and inspire more active social activities, both nationally and regionally. The young activists from across Poland were welcomed by representatives of the region's most important authorities, led by the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Władysław Ortyl, and the Voivode of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Ewa Leniart.
In the morning session, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development and Finance, Mateusz Morawiecki, addressed the participants, while the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, attended the meeting to sum up the event.

During the day, the young leaders participated in panel discussions. They began with a discussion titled "Economic Education – How to Educate Young People and Beyond?" In addition to the President of the Polish Bank Association (ZBP), Krzysztof Pietraszkiewicz, the participants included Piotr Müller, Director of the Minister's Office at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and Cezary Kaźmierczak, President of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers. The ZBP President highlighted, among other things, the extensive collaborative efforts being undertaken by the banking sector in Poland to promote financial education for students, pupils, and seniors.
