The fifth edition of the BANRISK Academic League competition began on Thursday, November 24, 2016, with a several-hour training session involving 17 teams and Mentor Andrzej Jakubaszek. This time, all participants gathered at the welcoming home of the Banker's Club. The Polish Bank Association is the patron of the event, and Modern Business Management is a partner.

The official ceremony was attended by invited guests: Professor Małgorzata Iwanicz-Drozdowska, PhD, DSc, from the Warsaw School of Economics, who served as a member of the Competition Jury, and Waldemar Zbytek, Vice President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Institute of Banking. Krzysztof Pietraszkiewicz, President of the Polish Bank Association, also met with the students during the session.

After the training session, the teams will make three more practice decisions, and then – with the new scenario – eight competition decisions. The competition is expected to conclude in April 2017. We wish all teams the best results and lots of fun!
