Janusz Korczak believed that "children should learn the value of money, the advantages and disadvantages of having it, as early as possible." The ideas he included in his book "The Bankruptcy of Little Jack," first published in 1924, remain relevant today. The message of economic education contained in this book supported Poland's economic development program, outlined and implemented by Prime Minister Władysław Grabski, who initiated fundamental financial and economic reforms that same year after more than 120 years of partition, World War I, and the post-war crisis.
Both the Warsaw Institute of Banking Foundation and Bank Pekao SA, the project's general partner, have been actively supporting education in this area for many years. Both Janusz Korczak's book and Prime Minister Grabski's educational messages have become a great inspiration for our educational activities, implemented through the "EduAktywni – Entrepreneurship for Everyone" program, within which we have developed the "Adventures of the Enterprising Jack" project.
We invite you to a lesson that inaugurates the nationwide educational project "The Adventures of Enterprising Jack".

Waldemar Zbytek – President of the Warsaw Institute of Banking Foundation, which has been involved in financial education for children and youth for many years.
Paweł Nowak – Director of the South Macroregion at Bank Pekao SA, manager with nearly 20 years of experience in various segments of the Polish banking market, lecturer at the University of Economics in Katowice.
