Nearly 300 people representing various backgrounds participated in the 4th Financial Education and Entrepreneurship Congress – the most important annual meeting in Poland dedicated to discussion, exchange of experiences, and establishing cooperation in the areas of financial education, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship. The Congress was held under the patronage of the Ministries of Finance, Development, and Digital Affairs, as well as the National Bank of Poland, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, and the Bank Guarantee Fund.

The event, which took place on March 10 this year at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, was attended by
over 250 representatives of public institutions and local governments,
universities, schools, non-governmental organizations and the financial and media sectors.

The plenary session was attended by representatives of the management of public institutions
such as the Ministry of Finance, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, the Bank Guarantee Fund and the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
The Congress was inaugurated by Krzysztof Pietraszkiewicz, President of the Polish Bank Association, who presented, among other things, the key foundations for the development of financial education in Poland. The opening session also featured a speech by Marek Dietl, President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, who emphasized, among other things, the importance of financial literacy in a dynamically changing socio-economic environment.
The inaugural debate entitled "Challenges of financial education at the threshold of the third decade of the 21st century" was attended by, in addition to the President of the Polish Bank Association, the Director of the Market Practices Department at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, Agnieszka Kowalska, and the Chairman of the GPW Foundation Council, Wojciech Nagel.

The second part of the Congress featured four panel sessions. They addressed topics such as the role of teachers, schools, universities, and non-governmental organizations in developing the competencies of young Poles, the challenges of financial education in Polish schools of tomorrow, and corporate social responsibility in banks. A panel session, "Security in Cyberspace," was also held for the first time, organized as part of an educational project launched by banks and technology companies during the first edition of the Congress in 2017.
