On the first weekend of December, student journalists from across Poland gathered in Krakow for the 3rd National Conference of the National Academic Media Forum. The OFMA conference accompanied the 11th Final Gala of the MediaTory Student Journalism Awards. The event was organized as part of the "Bankers for Education" sectoral project and the "Modern Business Management" program, initiated by the Polish Bank Association.
This annual meeting of student editorial teams from across Poland aims to integrate the academic media community, exchange experiences, and provide an opportunity to expand knowledge and skills in journalism. The first edition took place in November 2015 at the National Stadium in Warsaw, while last year's edition accompanied the European Students' Union congress in Gdańsk.

The conference opened with a debate titled "There Will Be No Pensions, We're Drowning in Debt – Why the Media and Politicians Can't Talk About Economics." Are pensions and loans a topic that young people aren't interested in, and who should educate and build good role models in saving and creditworthiness? These issues were explored by representatives of leading financial institutions in Poland, including Grzegorz Chłopek, President of the Management Board of Nationale-Nederlanden; Paweł Jaroszek, Vice President of the Management Board of the Social Insurance Institution; and Waldemar Zbytek, Vice President of the Warsaw Institute of Banking.
