We invite teachers and primary school students from grades 7 and 8 to participate in the European Financial Quiz Competition.
The EQF competition, organized at the initiative of the European Banking Federation in dozens of European countries, consists of national qualifying rounds and a European final in Brussels. In Poland, it is implemented by the Warsaw Institute of Banking Foundation in cooperation with the Polish Bank Association.
The European Financial Quiz is an educational knowledge competition whose aim is to:
Disseminating knowledge about finance and the banking system in Poland.
Learning and consolidating the rules of safe behavior in cyberspace.
To arouse students’ interest in economic topics and motivate them to continuously deepen their knowledge.
Enriching the curriculum in the field of practical financial education.
Shaping entrepreneurial attitudes among young people, including teamwork in competitive conditions.
Polish students have achieved success in the European finals, including victory in the 2017/2018 edition. Perhaps it's worth trying to repeat this achievement?
How to take part in the Competition?
A school interested in participating in EQF 2024/2025 submits a DECLARATION OF PARTICIPATION (https://formeqf.wib.org.pl/szkola/) and recruits students for the Competition. The purpose of recruitment is to form two-person teams, which will then be entered into the Competition.
After the recruitment process, the School registers a two-person team/teams by completing the TEAM REGISTRATION FORM (https://formeqf.wib.org.pl/zespoly/)
Prizes in the Competition
Student members of the three best teams will receive financial prizes in the amount of:
1st place PLN 1,500/person gross
2nd place PLN 1,000/person gross
3rd place PLN 500/person gross
The schools from which the three best teams from the EQF 2024/2025 Competition Finals will come will receive financial prizes in the amount of:
1st place PLN 2,500 gross
2nd place PLN 1,500 gross
3rd place PLN 1,000 gross
Teachers/guardians of the three best teams from the EQF 2024/2025 Final will receive financial prizes of PLN 750 gross/person.
Additional rewards:
All participants of the final (30 people, i.e. students and teachers) will receive prizes in the form of gift cards worth PLN 150 gross/person.
The three best teams from the Final will receive an invitation to participate in the Study Tour (study visit to Warsaw in June 2025).
The team that wins the national competition will gain the right to represent Poland in the European final of the European Money Quiz in Brussels, organized by the European Banking Federation.
The current, 8th edition of the Competition is being held in partnership with the National Bank of Poland as part of its economic education program.
